After a dramatic hullabaloo over a year, the whole affair has got a new twist lately….

Last year in June, Shiney Ahuja was arrested after his housemaid accused of raping her. Following the woman’s complain, Ahuja had to spend nearly three months in jail before getting a bail on Oct 1, 2009.

Surprisingly, of late news is on the rounds that the same lady has told a fast-track court that the actor ‘never’ raped her. The 20-year-old domestic help said to have claimed that she made the charge against Shiney allegedly due to some pressure from a woman who introduced her to the actor.

According to sources, Shiney’s case next hearing is scheduled for September 15. While the actor can still be convicted based on earlier evidence, the maid would also face the threat of being prosecuted for perjury if her latest statement turns out to be false.
